About the Journal

Tamkin: Jurnal Pengembangan Masyarakat Islam is a journal published by the Department of Islamic Community Development, Faculty of Da'wah and Communication, UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung since 2016. This journal publishes scientific research works that develop concepts and theories related to Islamic Community Development studies, including: community development in aspects of Islamic economics and philanthropy, home industry; social welfare, public health; advocacy; ecology, and environmental impact assessment.

Tamkin: Jurnal Pengembangan Masyarakat Islam has been published since Volume 1 Number 1 in 2016 on the website https://jurnal.fdk.uinsgd.ac.id using the OJS 3 system. From 2016 to 2022, it was published 4 times a year in March, June, September, and December. Since the publication of Volume 8 Number 1 in 2023, this journal migrated to the Journal House of UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung at the web address https://journal.uinsgd.ac.id/index.php/tamkin/index. The number of issues and publication months also changed from 4 times a year to 2 times a year in January and July. Starting from Volume 6 Number 1 in 2021, it has been accredited as Sinta 5 based on the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology Number 105/E/KPT/2022.
