This research explores the role of Geuleuyeung Salapan Theater (G9) as a medium of tabligh in Tasikmalaya, focusing on the integration of art and Islamic preaching. The study employed a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that G9 successfully combines performing arts with religious messages, making dakwah more engaging and accessible beyond formal sermons. The group’s characteristics include strong Islamic nuances, constructive social critique, simple language, and firm moral commitment. Their creative process consists of preparation, rehearsal, performance, and evaluation, each designed to internalize Islamic values. G9’s existence demonstrates that art can function as an effective strategy of dakwah, culturally adaptive, and relevant to the needs of the younger generation. Thus, the theater not only entertains but also educates, inspires, and strengthens Islamic identity within the community.
